Meeting Demands From Owners and Customers

Meeting owners’ demands

The World Economic Forum rates biodiversity loss as one of the most serious risks to business, society and, ultimately, humanity. This sends a clear signal to investors who are identifying their risks. Many investors also want to take more responsibility for driving progress towards sustainability (see examples in the Brand Risk section). By proactively working for biodiversity, we can meet the demands of owners and prospective financiers and secure access to capital.

Meeting customers’ demands

As the world’s attention turns to the state of biodiversity, customers and consumers will begin to demand more. Just as there is expected to be a growing demand for climate-neutral metals and minerals, there is every reason to be proactive as a supplier and position yourself on the issue of biodiversity.
