Taxonomy
The taxonomy aims to identify environmentally sustainable investments and is an important tool for achieving the objectives of the EU Green Deal.
A sustainable economic activity must:
- Significantly contribute to one or more of the six identified environmental objectives in the taxonomy
- Not cause significant damage to any of the other objectives
The taxonomy will more clearly define what it means for an activity to be sustainable and is expected to have a major impact on capital flows.
